Turnitin Appoints Bobby Wilson as Chief Financial Officer
Former Hobsons CFO/COO Wilson brings a wealth of educational technology experience to Turnitin team

Turnitin®, the leader in originality checking and online grading, today announced that Bobby Wilson, most recently the chief financial officer and chief operating officer at Hobsons, is joining Turnitin as chief financial officer. Bobby will oversee the financial planning, strategy and reporting for Turnitin as it expands in both the United States and Canada as well as internationally.

Bobby Wilson joins Turnitin from Hobsons, the education software and services company, where he served as CFO and COO from 2012 to early 2015. Prior to Hobsons, he spent 10 years in various leadership roles at Thomson Reuters, including finance lead for several businesses. Earlier in his career, Bobby held positions at Ford Motor Company and NASA. He has lived and worked throughout the U.S., including New York, Texas, Michigan, and Ohio, and also worked overseas for several years in Zurich and London.
Bobby will be based on Oakland, CA and report to Turnitin CEO Chris Caren.
