Well, we can hardly believe it: 2017 is almost over. Before launching into the New Year—and, trust us, we can't wait to launch— we want to take a moment to reflect on the past 12 months. From partnerships to product updates to podcasts, here's the best of Turnitin, 2017 edition.

1. We won a BESSIE

The ComputED Gazette's Annual Best Educational Software Awards recognize products that meaningfully promote educational excellence. Turnitin Feedback Studio and Revision Assistant were recognized in the Writing Instruction Support Website for post-secondary schools category and Essay Composition Website category for middle schools, respectively.

2. Feedback Studio got its very own iPhone app

iPad apps? That's so 2016. This year, we updated our iOS app so it's optimized for iPads and iPhones. With adaptive screen sizes, students can submit work and instructors can deliver feedback on all iOS devices. Preventing plagiarism and grading on the go has never been easier.

3. Revision Assistant prompts double

Revision Assistant's prompt library has grown in a number of ways this year. We not only partnered with Metametrics® to add Lexile Measures® to the texts that accompany source-based prompts, but we also added the Spot Check and Expansion Pack modules. Most exciting of all, we've added additional Signal Check, Spot Check, and Expansion Pack prompts, doubling the solution's prompt library!

4. The Global Innovation Awards

We recently announced the winners of our annual Global Innovation Awards. Since nominations opened in May, we received 678 nominations from all around the globe! This year's overall Global Innovator is Croydon College, London and its E-learning manager Andrew Checkley for their rapid, boundary-pushing adoption of Turnitin's services despite limited staff and financial resources. Read about Croydon College and the regional winners here.

5. The Written Word

Last but certainly not least, we launched a podcast! The Written Word is our platform for exploring writing from every angle imaginable. In the first season alone we tackled authentic writing, writing in the digital age, and collaborative writing, and we have been overwhelmed by the response. Catch up on all the episodes from Season 1, and get ready for Season 2, which will premiere in the New Year.
