Everyone has a role to play in maintaining academic integrity. New technologies and new learning environments present a huge opportunity for improved student outcomes, but also a huge opportunity for new methods of academic misconduct to emerge.
At Turnitin, our products and approaches are constantly evolving, but it is only through working in partnership with our customers to establish positive cultures of honesty, transparency and fairness that we can truly meaningfully address these threats and ensure that every credential is truly earned.
This in-person event was the first of its kind in the country and brought together experts from Turnitin - including our Regional Vice President for EMEA Aaron Yaverski - with academics from leading institutions to discuss what the future of academic integrity means for Georgia.
During the event, we covered:
- The rising culture of academic misconduct
- Real world examples of the impact of contract cheating
- Sustainable ways to maintain academic integrity
- Solutions to these challenges and the importance of working together
The event took place at Ilia State University, Tbilisi, Building G - Conference Hall.
