Rajneesh Choubisa

Dr. Rajneesh Choubisa is an Assistant Professor at BITS Pilani, a highly prestigious institution in Rajasthan, India. As an advocate for a culture of academic integrity, Rajneesh actively promotes measures on campus to educate undergraduate and doctoral students regarding plagiarism and violations of intellectual property rights. He strives to understand the psychology behind academic integrity, proactively coaching students with the help of Turnitin on academic best practices before they are tempted to engage in copy-paste behavior..

Rajneesh’s long-term goal is that his efforts will affect positive change on a broader level, across his institution and beyond. As a professor of psychology discipline in a diverse department having multiple specializations, Rajneesh strongly believes that instructors should not simply teach the foundational skills of a particular course, but also thoughtfully promote a high standard of integrity on all assignments.
